PX SQL Command Timeout Patch #4605

 

This patch is intended for installation on top of ArcFM 9.2.1 (build 4573).

Functionality Included: This patch corrects a bug where concurrently saving large designs will cause a time-out error.

Recommended Users: Clients who use Designer.

Notes: This patch requires additional configuration using the PX administration tool. To configure, have an administrator open the PX Admin tool and sign in. Click on the Configuration tab. Click the Add button to create a new row. Name the new row Px_CommandTimeout and set the value to 120. Save your changes and close the PX Admin tool. It should now be ready to use. The value is in seconds; if you are still receiving a time-out error, set the value higher by 30 second increments and retry.

The following files are included in the patch and will replace existing files:

• mmPxBaseUI.dll

Installation instructions:

1. Download the patch installer Patch_921_4605.exe to any location on your desktop machine.
2. Double-click the file to launch the installation.
3. At the installer dialog, review the readme information if desired. Then click 'Install Patch'.
4. When the installer dialog displays 'Completed', click the 'Close' button.
5. Configure Process Framework as described in the Notes above.

Patch #4605 contains the following bug fixes:

• MM31537 - Large Designs do not allow for concurrent saving on SQL Server databases.
