General ArcFM Patch #5743 for ArcFM 9.3.1

 

This patch is intended for installation on top of ArcFM Desktop 9.3.1 (build 5725).

Functionality Included: This patch fixes an issue in the Fiber Manager Standalone Global ID Conversion Tool and the Extended Feeder Manager Standalone Global ID Conversion Tool that caused the tools to crash if no ESRI ArcInfo License was available. Users with ESRI ArcEditor or ArcInfo licenses can now utilize the standalone conversion tools.

Recommended Users: All clients who require the 9.3.1 conversion to Global IDs for Fiber Manager or Extended Feeder Manager should install this patch.

The following files are included in the patch and will replace existing files:

• EFMStandAloneConversion.exe
• FiberStandAloneConversion.exe

Installation instructions:

1. Download the patch installer Patch_931_5743.exe to any location on your desktop machine.
2. Double-click the file to launch the installation.
3. At the installer dialog, review the readme information if desired. Then click 'Install Patch'.
4. When the installer dialog displays 'Completed', click the 'Close' button.

Patch #5743 contains the following bug fixes:

• QFE41140 - Fiber Manager crashes on launch in customer environment
