Excel Export Parsing Patch #5946 for ArcFM Server 9.3.1 SP1

 

This patch is intended for installation on top of ArcFM Server 9.3.1 SP1 (build 5881). This patch replaces previously issued patches #5920 and #5891.

Functionality Included:This patch fixes an issue where some fields were exported incorrectly into Excel, causing the exported file to not be able to open. (#5946)

This patch corrects an issue where custom searches and Object Query searches returned no results. (#5920)

This patch corrects an issue where clicking on the "Configure..." button for most tasks in ArcGIS Server Manager would cause an error like this: (#5891)

Error Message:Attempted to read or write protected memory.
          

Recommended Users: Clients who export fields containing numbers with hyphens. (#5946)

The following files are included in the patch and will replace existing files:

• Miner.Server.ADF.Tasks.dll (#5946, #5920, #5891)
• Miner.Server.ADF.Web.UI.WebControls.dll (#5946, #5891)

Installation instructions:

1. Download the patch installer Patch_931SP1_5946.exe to any location on your desktop machine.
2. Double-click the file to launch the installation.
3. At the installer dialog, review the readme information if desired. Then click 'Install Patch'.
4. When the installer dialog displays 'Completed', click the 'Close' button.

Patch #5946 contains the following bug fixes:

• MM42151: Server - Silverlight UI -- Excel Export erroneously parses some values as dates (#5946)
• MM41974: Server - Web ADF - Locator -- Custom Searches return no results (#5920)
• MM41972: Server - Web ADF - Locator -- Object Query never returns results (#5920)
• MM41038: Server - Web ADF - Locator -- Configuring a Task is breaking when hitting the Configure button (#5891)
• MM39656: Server - Web ADF - Web Templates -- Error attempting to configure ArcFM Tasks in ArcGIS Server Manager (#5891)
